Our Mission

We preserve and promote the Karate of Mabuni, Kenwa Kaiso in the United States as taught by his son Mabuni, Kenzo Soke: Seito Shito-Ryu.

Who We Are

The Seito Shito-Ryu USA Shihan Kai consist of all individuals residing in the United States of America who have attained the title of Shihan authorized by either Mabuni, Kenzo Soke or his daughter Mabuni Tsukasa Soke (or in the future by the authorized inheritor of Seito Shito-Ryu).

Preserve

We work to preserve the true nature (Seito) of Shito-Ryu by passing on the karate of Mabuni Kenwa as taught to us by his son, Mabuni Kenzo.

Advise

The Seito Shito-Ryu USA Shihan Kai functions as a resource for members of Seito Shito-Ryu USA Karate dojo on the practice, teaching and promotion of Seito Seito Shito-Ryu with minimum structure to support this principle.
