Kata alignment with Dan Promotion Katas?
Should the current Test Qualification Rules for Dan Promotion align with the posted Katas by Rank? Also, are the Katas included in the Dan Promotion Kata list primarily "recommended" or Katas Dan test candidates "must" select from? Thank you.

Kata by rank
I created the attached poster, similar to the one that I created for the Curriculum. This one shows the kata that would normally be taught and expected to be known by a practitioner at a particular rank. It's based on the spreadsheet I added to the Files page.
Just my opinion and I welcome any feedback.

The Kata by Rank chart I sent out was before the Handbook was sent out. We should definitely align these two. I would defer to the Technical Director for corrections.
